UCLA students need to take the MPT if

1. Your major DOES require Math 1, 3A, 31A, or 3AL (See Major Catalog) AND
2. You...
   • Received a 4 or below on the AP Calculus AB exam
   • Received a 3 or below AP Calculus BC exam
   • Received a 5 or below on the IB Math Analysis and Approaches HL exam
   • Do not have any formal college credit Math 1, 3A, 31A, or 31AL
