Enrollment into courses is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a course and its waitlist is full, students will have to continuously refresh the course listing for a chance to enroll when a spot opens.
How does a spot in the course open?
Waitlist spots open when a student in the course or waitlist drops. This is when you can add yourself onto the waitlist.
When will students drop?
We cannot predict when and why students would drop. It can happen at any time for any given reason. One student might drop at 5 PM on Thursday of Week 8 because they found are other courses they're interested in. Another student may drop at 2 AM on the in the second week of class after realizing their course load is too heavy.
If no one drops, can I get a PTE?
The Mathematics Department does not grant PTE's.
