Visiting Students Accepted as "Pre-Mathematics" Majors...
Will be granted a seat in one MATH course in first pass that is not in the "high-demand" list here: Information for UCEAP Reciprocity Students: Studying under Mathematics at UCLA.
Please email ugrad@math.ucla.edu with a list of 5 courses (in order of most to least preferred) that is not on the "high-demand" list. A mathematics advisor will manually enroll you into a course if seats are open.
Visiting Pre-Math students who want to add a second or third MATH course will have to wait until second pass.
Most major restrictions will be lifted at second pass. To prepare for enrollment at second pass, please do the following:
- Follow our Enrollment Restrictions Calendar to be informed of when we plan to lift major restrictions for certain courses.
- Email ugrad@math.ucla.edu with a list of courses you intend to enroll in. We will clear your prerequisites before your enrollment period starts.
