Being enrolled in a discussion section does not guarantee students a spot in another, and we do not assist students with switching. It’s up to you if you want to take the risk of going on the waitlist for a different section by using the EXCHANGE function on MyUCLA. This would mean that the enrollment system will drop you from your current section to add you to the waitlist of the other (if a waitlist spot is available). What if my friend and I are enrolled in different lectures/discussions and we are willing to switch with one another?
We do not assist with course switches. You would have to drop your sections to try enrolling at your own risk.
