The Mathematics Departmental Scholars Program is the most advanced program offered to undergraduate mathematics majors, granting students a chance to complete a Bachelor's (BS) and Master's (MA) in mathematics at the same time. It provides excellent preparation for graduate school for exceptional students. DSP students are expected to complete all of their undergraduate courses and an additional 11 graduate mathematics courses, with no course overlaps between the two degrees.
Students who were admitted as freshmen must complete the program within four years. Students who were admitted as transfers may be considered for an additional year on top of the two that they were initially granted.
See DEPARTMENTAL SCHOLARS AND HONORS PROGRAMS > Scholars Program for more information.
