What if my new student orientation takes place before my AP exam results are published?
If you want to guarantee that you will get a spot Math 1, 3A, 31AL, or 31A, you will have to take the Math Diagnostic Test. Your New Student Advisor cannot enroll you into courses based on assumptions or predictions. They can only enroll you into courses based on the credits that are transferred in. If there is no AP exam credit transferred to UCLA by the time of your orientation, you will not be enrolled into any math course during orientation, and you will have to wait until mid-September to enroll yourself into a course without assistance.
